The Contemplative Prayer Group is a group of Anglicans and Methodists from the City Centre Parish and St Peter's Methodist Church who meet once a month for a time of quiet meditation. At each meeting a different leader provides a structure for our thoughts through readings and prayers, in between which there are extended periods of silence.
We use visual aids such as candles and occasionally recorded music.
Anyone who would like to meditate quietly on God, with others, will be most welcome at our regular meetings which take place at St. Peter's Methodist Church on the first Wednesday evening of each month from 7.45 to 8.30 p.m.
